Pond Tour on June 7, 2008
Our fourth annual Pond Tour will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2008. The hours will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. At present, there will be 12 ponds available for viewing. Five of the 12 ponds are new to our tours. The majority of ponds will be in the Santa Clarita Valley plus one in Granada Hills, one in Agua Dulce and a koi hatchery in Fillmore.
The pond owners will be available for questions. This is an excellent opportunity to see how others have built their ponds in varying sizes and shapes and share their experiences. These ponds include examples of different types of construction including liners and concrete.
Tour books available at Rooms & Blooms, 24264 Valencia Blvd., Valencia, and Vision Center located at 26506 Bouquet Canyon Road in Saugus during normal business hours. Also the day of the tour they will be available at 24128 Avenida Crescenta., Valencia, (Old Orchard ll).
