Our club is a place to share common interests related to the hobby of pond keeping, including koi, goldfish, and water gardening. Our purpose is to provide educational programs regarding pond keeping, to promote water gardening as a leisure activity, and to promote appreciation of Nishikigoi and goldfish in outdoor pond settings.
Our goal as a club is to provide opportunities for members to learn and appreciate "the science of Koi keeping".
The members of our club constantly strive to update their knowledge of Koi keeping. Because of this, they can also attempt to assist fellow members in solving their practical problems such as pond construction, pond modification, filtration, water quality improvement, common fish diseases, etc.
Our club's philosophy is to give personal attention to members' problems. Members can call or e-mail the designated person in our club for advice or discussion on any practical problem.

Koi & Pond Tip of the Day
January 28th, 2012
You should stop fertilizing your aquatic plants about a month before the first frost in your area. Even in areas that don't normally have frost, plant growth slows in the shorter, cooler days of the fall and winter months.
